Scope first. Gladewood Commons is an independent, all-inclusive co-living housing rental company in Chattanooga, Tennessee. We’ll rent furnished rooms in shared houses. We provide housing only; we’re not a licensed care facility. We don’t provide medical care, personal care, medication help, or supervision. Residents arrange any outside services themselves, and visiting home health, nursing, and case management are welcome.
If that fits your client, here’s everything you need to know before sending a referral.
The short version
| Price | A shared room will run $550–$650/mo, and a private room $850–$1,100/mo. Both are all-inclusive: electricity, water, sewer, gas, trash, fiber Wi-Fi, and in-house laundry. |
|---|---|
| Income | Income must be at least 2× monthly rent, with all sources combined. Wages, retirement, SSI, SSDI, VA disability, housing vouchers, and agency subsidies all count equally, and every applicant faces the same screening criteria. |
| References & guarantors | You can serve as a reference. If a client misses a criterion, your agency or program can act as guarantor; so can family or a friend who qualifies. |
| Referral response | One of our team members replies within 24–48 business hours to confirm we received your referral and to send the application link and the list of required documents. |
| Application decision | Management reviews all applications and gets back to you and your client within 2–3 business days once the client’s ID, proof of income, and references are submitted. |
| Move-in | Your client will need a signed lease and Community Living Agreement, government ID, first month’s rent, and a security deposit equal to one month’s rent. |
